The Unit will explore efficient collaborative working online, especially in response the recent pandemic, by exploring safety and security issues, maximising team efficiencies on team deliverables through digital technology.

Academic Requirements
The entry requirements for our Level 2 Units include:


  • 2 GCSE qualifications at grades A* - D or 9-3 or equivalent, or
  • Level 1 vocational qualification and a Level 1 English qualification, or
  • Previous work experience in this area is preferable but not essential.

This Level 2 Unit provides learners with knowledge and insight to advance their use of collaborative technology within a business setting, especially within supporting management and leadership duties. This Unit relates to those seeking job progression into junior or middle mangement roles within the digital economy. 

At the end of this Award you will be able to:

  • Be able to prepare and set up collaborative technologies for use.
  • Be able to use collaborative technology safely and securely.
  • Be able to initiate, contribute to, and value contributions from others, in tasks using collaborative technologies.

This Level 2 Unit is a 3-credit Unit which requires 24-hours of study time.
