Long Description:

Web development includes a grounding in HTML, CSS and Javascript. HTML is for structure and layout of a website whilst CSS enables style. Javascript facilites interactivity. Together, they can create rich online experiences and user journeys. You will gain an understanding of user interface design and digital user experiences.

You will gain an understanding of WordPress and alternative Content Management Systems so that you can make a choice as to how close you want to be to the coding of your website. You will learn the common website problems and issues, known as bugs, and how to resolve them. You will be in a position to determine how you want to specialise your knowledge for the industry and in what ways you can further your skills in this area.
